Eligibility: Lineal descent from a Patriot of the American Revolution.

Interested in joining the SAR? Our chapter welcomes new members throughout Greater Baton Rouge. We can help you document your lineage to a Patriot and navigate the application process. About the Chapter

The General Philemon Thomas Chapter is the Greater Baton Rouge area chapter of the Louisiana Society, Sons of the American Revolution. Our members are descendants of Revolutionary War Patriots.  We are an organization dedicated to patriotism, education, and historic preservation.
